This Zinsser Peel Stop is a flexible bridging sealer designed for surfaces where peeling, flaking, dusting or chalking is an issue. Its unique formula tightly bonds to old paint and problem areas, forming a tough acrylic film that stays flexible whilst still letting moisture escape. Perfect for both interior and exterior surfaces, the breathable membrane will form a sound surface for new paint and prevent peeling problems on old or new surfaces.

Even after scraping and sanding painted surfaces, small cracks and gaps can remain beneath the edges of old paint. Peel Stop penetrates these areas, effectively 'glueing' them with a strong bond that helps prevent future peeling. Its formula also penetrates and binds chalky residues, creating a secure base.

Applications for this product include: Wood siding and trim, yellow pine, rough-sawn cedar, textured plywood, chalking or powdering, concrete and concrete block, stucco and galvanised gutters.
