Builder Depot Ltd. was founded in 2001, with over 100 years of industry experience as a plywood and timber specialist. Over the last 20 years, we’ve expanded to meet the needs of all trades, becoming a reliable building materials supplier for tradespeople like you across London.

Our Locations
We operate from five warehouse-based branches, strategically located along the easily accessible North Circular between North and West London. Our depots are in prime locations, including Acton, Park Royal, West Hampstead, Cricklewood and New Southgate (the location of our flagship branch).
Each of our stores offers time-saving services and thousands of products, so you can get your supplies quickly and head straight to the job site. And if you're in a rush, we offer same-day delivery at our Staples Corner branch and Click & Collect at our New Southgate branch on selected products.

Click & Collect
In 2025, we introduced Click & Collect at our New Southgate branch as part of our commitment to making life easier for our customers.
Designed with busy tradespeople in mind, our Click & Collect service helps you save time by skipping in-store queues. For larger orders, there’s no need to leave your van; simply park up, let us know you’ve arrived, and our team will load your building supplies for you.
There’s no minimum or maximum order value. The only limit is what fits in your vehicle.
Nationwide Delivery
If you’re based outside London and can’t get to one of our branches, you can still enjoy the same high level of service through our online store.
Simply enter your postcode to see which products we can deliver to your area. We offer weekday delivery (Monday to Friday, during working hours) on small to medium-sized items for added convenience. For larger or bulk orders, we provide kerbside delivery using our own fleet of vehicles, or direct delivery from our suppliers to ensure the most efficient service possible.
We also offer free delivery in selected areas. If you’re in Delivery Zone 1, you’ll receive free delivery on orders over £500 inc VAT. For customers in Zones 2–4, free delivery applies to orders over £1,000 inc VAT. These discounts are automatically applied at checkout.

The Largest Timber Selection in London
You’ll find London’s largest timber selection at our New Southgate branch. Our carcassing timber conforms to the highest environmental standards and is harvested from slow-grown Scandinavian whitewood spruce (Picea Abies), giving you greater stability, durability, and a premium finish.
We also stock both C16 and high-grade C24 timber. This is structurally sound, resilient, and has fewer visible knots and physical defects, making it ideal for general construction applications.
Alongside our timber range, you can choose from a wide selection of high-quality sheet materials, including OSB, MDF, chipboard, and birch, marine, and shuttering plywood in various thicknesses and finishes.
