Our Most Recent Projects

Save the Hop Pole

Save the Hop Pole: The small but driven village of Limpley Stoke in Wiltshire had big plans to save a much-loved 1500s pub from residential developers. After successfully purchasing the pub, the community set their sights on transforming the historical Hop Pole into a community hub, so we donated hundreds of pounds worth of supplies to their 120 volunteers to help them on their journey.

Emmaus

Emmaus: After sharing their plans to build vegetable and herb gardens for their former rough-sleeping residents, we sent Emmaus timber and topsoil to make their green-thumbed dreams a reality. The 18 residents of their Community Homes can now harvest, prepare and eat healthy meals using food that grows on-site.

London Hackspace

London Hackspace: With big plans to transform an empty room into a volunteer-run workshop for the community, we were eager to help London Hackspace. Luckily, our Park Royal branch was local to Hackspace, allowing us to smoothly donate a large range of materials to create a much-needed internal partition wall for their community makerspace.

millennium logo

New Southgate Millennium Green: We supplied products to our local community garden project, including screws, drill bits and other fixings. The area's upkeep is run solely by volunteers. And now, with the coming of spring, the green has burst into life. Green spaces are vital in our urban environments and we're so glad to have been able to help.

south Staffordshire college logo

South Staffordshire College: We donated a range of power banks, pencils and impact screwdriver bits to help carpentry and bricklaying students have the tools they need in class.

matt & fiona logo

Matt & Fiona: We supplied heavyside materials including timber and plywood to Let’s Build: Brixton. This was one of Matt’s+Fiona’s BUILD Projects enabling children and young people to design and construct their own performance space as part of the Oval House Theatre relocating to Brixton House.

tls boxing logo

Traffic Light System CIC: We’re supplying a range of materials to TLS Boxing CIC, a project aimed at providing a positive space for young people. The gym aims to provide regular boxing classes and other activities to children, with accessible classes available to those with additional needs. They also plan to provide mentoring, volunteering, training and a range of career opportunities for the local area, in the hopes of improving peoples social and economic circumstances.

Southbank logo

London Southbank Technical College: To support the LSBTC construction students, we supplied a big box of construction fixings from Irwin and our own brand, Speed Pro. This donation included a wide range of screws, drill bits and holesaws.

College of northwest London logo

College of North West London: After reaching out to CNWL, we discovered that they were in the process of building a Mini Energy Home and had to help. We donated large amounts of timber to bring this project to life and support students preparing to enter the construction industry.

Citizens advice logo

Citizens Advice: East Dorset & Purbeck: Citizens Advice approached us for help in the renovation of their office kitchen. We gladly provided them with a fresh coat of paint and a new sink. Now, visitors and clients are one step closer to enjoying a more comfortable and inviting communal space.

Ellingham VC primary School

Ellingham Primary School: Ellingham Primary School didn't ask for much! Just an extension reel to aid in the success of the annual summer fete. We were delighted to see it being utilised by entertaining the attendees with live music.

National Animal Welfare Trust logo

National Animal Welfare Trust: After receiving 188 dogs between 2022-23, NAWT needed a new kennel built for their nervous newcomers and reached out for our help. We were able to donate concrete, posts, timber panels and an entry gate to help ensure their four-legged residents had a safe place to settle into.
