The wago 5 way lever cable connector 222 series grey / orange box of 40. The operation of the 222 series terminals is simplicity itself. The cage clamp inside the connector block is opened by using one of the integrated orange levers. Once in the open position the clamp is ready to accept the insertion of the stripped conductor. Close the lever flush with the body of the connector block and the connection is complete. To remove a conductor simply open the clamp and the connector can be reused. Operating Instructions
Simply flip up the integrated orange lever to vertical position, opening the cage clamp, insert the stripped conductor, then return the lever to the horizontal position, closing the cage clamp to give a perfect gastight connection every time.

17th edition IEE wiring regulations (BS7671)
In order to comply with the requirements BS7671 all connectors should be used in a suitable enclosure of material complying with the relevant glow-wire test requirements of BS 458-2.1. This will provide mechanical protection for the connectors as well as protection against dust, damp and accidental damage.
