This VELUX GGU 0070 Centre Pivot Roof Window is a centre-pivot roof window with a white polyurethane internal finish. Easy to install and operate, pivot windows hold the ability to dramatically improve a room; they're one of the best ways to add natural light, ventilation and a feeling of openness to your under roof spaces, however, they're also great for rooms with low ceilings or where you'd like a better view of the surroundings below. These modern VELUX windows are also impressively easy to maintain thanks to their durable paint coating and anti-fungal wood treatment, making them much lower maintenance than pine-finish roof windows.
However, this window doesn't just look the part; with the no.70 Made for Comfort glazing, you can expect rain noise reduction, laminated safety glass, protection from UV rays and extra-strength toughened glass, making it ideal for above-head installation. The window is also designed with an inner, laminated pane so that if an object was to hit the window with force, the glazing would hold in place, much like a car windscreen, until you're able to get it fixed. For easy cleaning of the external pane, this roof window can also rotate 180 degrees and locks securely in position
