Tovcol MS Start Wood Floor Adhesive is a silane-based polymer adhesive for wooden floor installations. With excellent strength and elasticity, it bonds flooring boards to prepared subfloors. Tovcol MS Start is compatible with underfloor heating and offers good soundproofing, making it a versatile choice. Plus, the formula is solvent-free, odourless, and contains no water, epoxy resins, amines, or isocyanates, making it safer for installers and end users alike.

Application Instructions

1. Press the flooring boards into the adhesive bed, ensuring 60–70% minimum coverage
2. Apply the adhesive onto the prepared subfloor with the trowel for optimal coverage
3. Remove excess adhesive immediately for easy cleaning
4. Leave a 1cm expansion gap around all perimeter walls

Storage

• Store this product in its original sealed packaging at temperatures above 10°C
• Tovcol MS Start has a 12-month shelf life under correct conditions

• The manufacturer recommends taking care when using this product on pre-finished oiled parquet, as the cleanup is less predictable and can be difficult
• This adhesive is not suitable for lacquered/treated backings or bonding plastic materials (e.g. PVC, PE)
• Do not use Tovcol MS Start on screeds treated with aceto-vinyl primers
