The Speed Pro S4 high performance yellow passivated wood screw has been designed to give rapid installation into many different materials with excellent pull out resistance. It is suitable for use with hardwood, chipboard, oak, plywood, softwood, OSB and MDF. Complete with a type 17 gash cut point, it will drive the screw through most hardwoods without the need to pre-drill. The speed pro S4 unique cutting point allows you to screw close to the edge of your timber without the fear of splitting. It's wax lubricated for greater resistance to corrosion and has a unique sawfix serrated thread that will reduce torque and insertion time. The reinforced Pozi CSK head has 6 self-countersinking reaming nibs on the underside which ensure a neat finish every time. The shank ribs prevent jacking by cleaning the hole when securing two pieces of wood together. They also reduce torque and help prevent splitting. A free drill bit is supplied with every box.
