This Sika MaxMix Frostproofer and Accelerator is a highly concentrated air entraining admix, designed especially for cold weather working. This product eliminates the need for a second frostproofing admix, and is the ideal choice for a cold weather admix providing frost protection below -4°C. Suitable for a range of applications, this frostproofer reduces the setting time of sand and cement based mortars, renders, and screeds. Sika MaxMix Frostproofer is chloride free, so will not attack embedded steel. It is therefore suitable for use with brick ties and similar materials.
