Before laying your Quick-Step floor, you must install an underlay. A good underlay provides the stable foundation that your quality floor deserves and also insulates against sound.
Product Information
Quick-Step TransitSound Underlay has been designed to effectively reduce the transit sound, i.e. noise that would otherwise travel to the room below, by up to 21dB. The 2mm thickness will level out minor unevenness in the subfloor and provide a sufficient cushioning. The built-in damp proof membrane allows for easy installation, while protecting your new laminate flooring from rising moisture. This underlay is supplied in 15m2 rolls and is compatible with underfloor heating.
