The Mapei Mapegum WPS Liquid Membrane is designed for waterproofing walls and floors in bathrooms and wet rooms. With a flexible and solvent-free formula, this waterproof membrane offers excellent protection under wet and humid conditions to prevent lasting damage. This product can be applied to a range of materials and surfaces.

Application Instructions

1. Substrates must be solid, clean, dry and free of oil, grease and old paintwork
2. Thoroughly clean all the mould or loose material from existing surfaces by washing and brushing them down or by spraying water and steam
3. Anhydrite, gypsum and highly absorbent substrates must be pre-treated with a primer
4. Existing substrates of ceramic tile or natural stone must be treated with a primer first
5. After preparation is completed, apply the product at a minimum thickness of 1mm by trowel, with a roller, by brush or spray evenly in thin coats
6. Wait until the first coat is dry before applying further coats crossways
7. Leave to dry for 12-24 hours before laying ceramic tiles or natural stone
