Silicone K1 incorporates silicone technology, suitable for use with most render spray machines and larger projects where machine application can offer time-saving benefits, Silicon K1 is also suitable for hand application and used as a finish in conjunction with a K Rend base coat.

• Required over base coat: Approximately 18kg / sq m

Application Instructions

• One coat can be applied directly onto blockwork and to avoid 'ghosting', should be finished to a minimum of 16mm
• Apply to a recommended thickness of 18mm in two coats
• Once set, 2mm is scraped off to achieve a thickness of 16mm
• Can be used in a two-coat application with a K Rend Base Coat
• Hollows should be filled in immediately to avoid skin forming
• Achieve line level by utilising a darby or a straight edge
