The IKOpro Quick Dry Bitumen Primer 5L is a bitumen priming solution designed to seal and prepare dry or slightly damp substrates surfaces for the application of bitumen waterproofing products and systems. Deep penetrating yet fast drying, this solution is ideal for stabilising dusty and porous surfaces before installing IKO roofing systems.

Application Instructions

Application temperature should be between +3 and +27°C ready for use. All surfaces must be clean, dry and free from grease, oil, dirt and loose material
• Smooth metal surfaces, where necessary, should be prepared with a wire brush. If moss or lichen is present this must be removed and the surface treated algae and fungi remover
• Apply IKOpro Quick Dry Bitumen Primer in one coat with a brush, roller or airless spray gun. Apply a thin even coating, brushing well into the surface. Do not allow material to pool or collect in depressions
• Allow drying thoroughly before proceeding with the application of other bitumen products. Drying times may be extended in low temperatures
