This IG Standard Box Steel Lintel 4200mm is a versatile and robust support for openings in 215mm wide walls. Manufactured from pre-galvanised steel, this box lintel is suitable for both internal and external wall constructions and carries the full load of wet masonry immediately after installation.

Installation Instructions
- A minimum end bearing of 150mm is required on each side of the opening, bedded on mortar for stability
- Take care to avoid shock loading, especially when used with concrete floors or heavy units
- Masonry must be laid on a full mortar bed with all perpendicular joints properly filled
- Level the lintel along its length and across its width during installation
