Product Information
This IG L1/HD 150 2400mm Heavy Duty Cavity Lintel is a load-bearing structural element that spans between two vertical supports. It is designed with two leaves to ease the construction of cavity walls and support the wall above doors and windows. These lintels are created using galvanised steel and have built-in foam insulation between the two flanges to retain warmth and reduce condensation. Blockwork should be built tight against the inner face of the lintel and then a mortar bed placed on top of the blockwork before floor units are laid to ensure an even load distribution. Lintels may be propped to facilitate the speed of construction.
