This QA Flooring Heavy Duty Spray Adhesive (500ml) is a high-strength spray glue suitable for carpets, carpet tiles, underlays and textiles. It bonds to a wide range of surfaces, including timber, concrete, metals, plastics, glass and rubber, and comes in a 500ml can with a controlled 6mm spray pattern, covering approximately 40-42m².

Application Instructions

1. Shake the can thoroughly before use
2. Ensure both surfaces to be bonded are clean, dry and free from dust, grease and oil
3. Spray the adhesive evenly from a distance of 20–50cm
4. For porous materials, spray the adhesive onto the surface and bring the materials together immediately
5. For non-porous materials, spray adhesive onto both the floor and the covering, then allow it to dry for around 1 minute before bonding
6. To achieve a semi-permanent bond, spray adhesive onto one surface only and allow it to dry for 4–5 minutes before fixing
7. If the can is not used within 2 hours, turn it upside down and spray until only vapour is released to clear the nozzle
8. Always test on a small area first to ensure the product is suitable for your application

Storage

• Do not expose the can to temperatures above 50°C
• Protect the can from sunlight

• This carpet glue contains dichloromethane. Use in a well-ventilated area and follow all safety instructions on the packaging
