The TRV4 Classic is Class "A" rated for efficiency by the European valve manufacturer's association, making it one of the most energy-efficient TRVs available. Installation Instructions

• The lockshield valve should be fitted to the opposite end of the TRV and is used to regulate the flow of water or to isolate the radiator
• Ensure the TRV has a free flow of air around it so it can work effectively, i.e. do not cover the TRV or place furniture too close
• The thermostatic sensor must be unscrewed and the valve closed using a manual cap before the radiator is removed
• The maximum static pressure against which the isolating cap will seal is 6 bar
• Formulations containing mineral oil must not be added to the heating system
• The maximum temperature of the thermostatic head is 50°C
