Product Information
The Dow 781 General Purpose Silicone Sealant Black 310ml is a fast-curing, acetoxy sealant designed for a wide variety of internal and external applications. It bonds effectively to non-porous materials such as glass, aluminium, painted surfaces and composite boards. With excellent UV and temperature resistance, this silicone sealant is ideal for glazing, draught-proofing, and weather sealing.

Application Instructions
- Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust, frost, old sealant, grease or release agents
- Mask off adjacent surfaces to maintain neat sealant lines and remove tape after tooling
- Cut the cartridge dome, attach the nozzle and trim it at a 45° angle to the required width
- Apply with a sealant gun, maintaining consistent pressure along the joint
- Tool the joint within 5 minutes to ensure proper contact and a smooth finish

- Not suitable for use on bitumen, rubber, EPDM or materials that bleed plasticisers or oils
- Not suitable for structural glazing, submerged joints, or areas subject to abrasion
- Not suitable for porous surfaces such as stone, concrete, marble or granite
- Do not use on mirror edges or reactive metals like brass, copper and lead
- Not recommended for food contact areas or pharmaceutical applications
- Not recommended for use in confined spaces without ventilation
- Please note that this sealant is not aquarium safe
