These D-Line Safe-D 40 U-Clips are designed to be fitted against walls or inside trunking and then inwardly folded around cables to safely secure them, making them ideal for ceiling voids or popular PVC trunkings. They are impressively quick and easy to install thanks to the combination of their pliable gauge steel material and their thumb-friendly rounded corners - plus, they have a <1200ºC melting point, so you can rest easy. These clips can be fitted direct-to-surface, or in non-metallic trunking systems. All can be secured to the substrate by shot-fired nails or screws.
These size U-Clips are ideal for fitment in 38mm or 40mm non-metallic trunking bases, or to provide a first-fix solution for securing cables dircet to surfaces. Installers should use a fire-rated fixing and then simply fold over tabs to secure the cables.
