Product Information
Cromar Bitumen Primer is a low viscosity, high penetration bituminous solution designed to prime and seal porous roof surfaces. Bitumen primer seals porous substrates and promotes the adhesion of bituminous waterproofing systems and sheet coverings.

Application
Bitumen Primer should be applied by brush ensuring an even coat, or applied evenly by airless spray
Preperation
All surfaces must be free from oil, dirt, dust and loose debris. On metal surfaces all loose rust should be removed with a wire brush and any advanced signs of corrosion should be treated with a rust inhibitor. Surfaces should be dry before application although Bitumen Primer will adhere to damp surfaces
Coverage
Coverage is dependable upon the porosity of the surface
