Cementone Cement Colourant offers a specially formulated mixture ideal for colouring cement, concrete, renders, mortars and screeds. It does not impair performance of the mix and disperses easily in a dry mix , making it ideal for interior and exterior applications.
Product Information
Bostik Cementone Cement Colourant Russet Brown 1kg is specifically formulated to colour cement, concrete, renders, mortars and screeds. Cementone Colours for Cement use pigments that conform to BS EN 12878:2005. Cementone Colours for Cement is a light-fast and disperse easily into the dry mix. When used as recommended Cementone Colours do not affect the final mix. Cementone Colours are suitable for interior and exterior use and are intermixable to give a wide range of shades.

Application
Gauge colour by weight, not by volume. In normal use a good depth of colour will be achieved by ratio 1 part Cementone Colours for Cement to 20 parts cement by weight e.g. 1.25Kg Colour to 25Kg cement. For lighter shades reduces the weight of Cementone Colours for cement. For darker shades increase the weight of Cementone Colours for cement. The ratio should never exceed 1 part Cementone Colours for cement to 10 parts cement by weight e.g. 2.5Kg Cementone Colors for cement to 25Kg cement. Always use product from the same batch, the exact colour achieved will depend on the grade and colour of sand, cement and aggregate used. To ensure colour consistency use the same grades and weights of ingredients for the whole project. The same quantity of gauging water must be added to each batch. For pastel shades white cement is recommended. When colour matching, always assess match on a set, dry mix. Add Cementone Colours for cement direct to the dry cement.
