We are seeking an organised individual with exceptional communication skills to join our E-commerce Department.

Working Hours: 42.5 hours, 5 Days a week 08:00am – 17:00pm (Working 1 in 3 weekends, with Sunday as paid mandatory overtime).

The main roles and responsibilities include:

• Supporting our Click & Collect services.
• Ensuring orders are accurately picked, based on quantity and quality requirements.
• Packing orders following high quality standards.
• Labelling orders correctly ready for dispatch via our various carrier network partners.
• Handling materials with care to prevent damage or loss.
• Ensuring customer requirements are met in a timely, controlled and recorded manner.

Person Specification:

• Forklift licence required (Counterbalance).
• Previous experience working within a builders merchants and familiar with warehouse operations.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Good communication skills (fluent in verbal and written English).
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
• A team player with the ability to work unsupervised.
• Able to safely carry out manual handling tasks on a daily basis capable of lifting and manoeuvring heavy loads.
• Ability to maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the working area(s).
