Forklift Driver/ Van Driver up to 3.5 Tonne

We are looking for an experienced Forklift Driver, who can also drive our 3.5 tonne van when required.

The hours for this role are 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Forklift Driver Key Responsibilities Include:

• Loading and offloading trucks.
• Assisting with deliveries of goods and supplies.
• Picking and packing orders.
• Moving and storing goods correctly.
• Ensure stock is replenished and remerchandised.
• Keeping the work area clean and tidy.
• Providing high levels of customer service at all times.

Van Driver Key Responsibilities Include:

• Carrying out multi drop deliveries to our customers in a safe and timely manner.
• Collection of materials.
• Assist with loading the vehicle.
• Unloading goods at the customers address.
• Transferring stock between branches.
• Vehicle walk around checks.
• Using app-based software to inform the customer of when the delivery is enroute.
• Collecting signatures on delivery and issuing invoices.

Forklift Driver Knowledge, Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience of using a counter balance and reach truck.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills (fluent in verbal & written English).
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
• A team player who has the ability to work unsupervised .

Van Driver Knowledge, Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Candidates must have a clean full UK driving licence.
• Candidates must have a strong knowledge of London and surrounding areas.
• Good communication and customer service skills are also required for this role.
