E-commerce Warehouse Associate

We are seeking an organised individual with exceptional communication skills to join our E-commerce Department.

Working Hours: 42.5 hours, 5 Days a week 08:00am – 17:00pm (Working 1 in 3 weekends, with Sunday as paid mandatory overtime).

The main roles and responsibilities include:

• Operating forklifts and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensuring the orders are accurately picked, based on quantity and quality requirements.
• Packing orders following high quality standards.
• Labelling orders ready for dispatch via our various carrier network partners.
• Handling materials with care to prevent damage or loss.
• Ensuring customer requirements are met in a timely, controlled and recorded manner.
• Supporting our click & collect operation.

Person Specification:

• Warehouse Fulfilment: 3 years experience required.
• Forklift Licence (required).
• Previous experience working within a Builders Merchants and be familiar with warehouse operations.
• Previous forklift or counterbalance experience.
• Excellent organisation skills and ability to prioritise workload.
• Ability to work well under pressure and to follow deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A team player who has the ability to work unsupervised.
• Able to safely carry out manual handling tasks on a daily basis capable of lifting and manoeuvring heavy loads.
