This C-TEC BW1 Ultimate Bathroom Tanking Solution is an anti-bacterial waterproofing layer used in bathrooms and wet rooms to prevent damp. Its chemically enhanced formula is based on TRIBRID technology, offering superior bonding strength and flexibility, whilst removing the need to prime surfaces. This BW1 tanking solution is for multiple substrates, including wood, cement, plasterboard and fibre cement board. It comes in a 5L tub, covering an area of 5m² (for two coats).

BW1 waterproof coating is used before tile application in areas that could come into contact with moisture and running water.

Application Instructions

1. Do not prime the substrate before application.
2. Ensure the surface is clean and free from dust and contaminants that may affect the solution's adhesion.
3. Apply two coats with a foam/sponge roller, waiting between 1.5 and 2 hours between coats. One coat should be applied vertically and the other horizontally.
4. After 24 hours, tiles and wall panels can be fitted on top of the cured tanking solution.
