How to install artificial grass
Artificial grass is particularly useful for concrete or rocky and sandy areas that cannot grow natural grass. It is also useful for gardens that receive little to no sunlight or nutrients.
Ensure that artificial grass is laid on an area with suitable draining and clear of any soil or debris. It is often helpful to lay some of our MOT type 1 aggregates down first for a stronger base to better hold the artificial grass.
For a natural-looking lawn, lay your artificial grass with the blades facing toward your home or main viewpoint.
Make sure any excess is trimmed before the sections are joined and that every section is laid in the same direction to create a consistent texture and colour for a neater look.
How to maintain artificial grass
Artificial grass maintenance costs are typically cheaper than home-grown grass, as you will save on trimming, pest control and water usage expenses.
Be sure to remove dry leaves and other debris that may be blown into the artificial grass with one of our stiff sweeping brooms or a plastic rake.
While artificial grass can be cleaned with a hose, special artificial grass cleaners and treatments are helpful for cleaning messes and providing protection.
How long does artificial grass last?
Our artificial grass is extremely durable and has a 10-15 year life expectancy.
