The Builder Depot Contractor Plus Tape Measure 5m/16ft is our own-brand measuring tape, built for daily use on site. The 25mm blade locks automatically as it is drawn out and stays put until you press the release button on top of the case, so one hand is enough to take a reading. A magnetic end hook, belt clip and non-reflective Class II blade make it quick and dependable to work with.

Key Features

• The automatic blade lock holds the tape extended until you press the release button on top of the case, so you can take a reading with one hand
• Magnetic end hook grips onto ferrous metal such as steel studs, joist hangers and profiles for single-handed measuring
• Three-rivet true zero end hook keeps internal and external measurements accurate as the hook slides in and out
• Non-reflective blade finish reduces glare so the markings stay easy to read in bright sunlight
• Heavy-duty ABS case with a thick rubber grip protects the mechanism through daily site use
• Belt clip keeps the tape on your hip and off the floor as you move around the job
• 25mm wide blade gives a broad, clear scale that is quick to read at arm's length
• Wrist strap helps stop the tape being dropped when you are working at height
• Dual metric and imperial scales marked along the blade for 5m and 16ft
• Class II accuracy for dependable readings
