British Gypsum Gyproc QuickSand (25kg) is an air-drying jointing compound for all stages of plasterboard jointing. Supplied as a powdered material, it can be used by hand or with mechanical jointing tools to create a smooth finish ready for decoration. It is suitable for use with plasterboard, Glasroc F MultiBoard, Glasroc F FireCase and Rigidur H, making it a versatile choice for drylining and finishing work.

Application Instructions

1. Ensure plasterboard backgrounds are reasonably dry, clean and free from dust before application
2. Add the powder gradually to clean water, mixing until a smooth, creamy consistency is achieved
3. Allow the mixed material to stand for at least 10 minutes, then re-mix by hand before use
4. Leave each coat to dry fully before applying the next coat or carrying out further finishing work
5. Apply Gyproc Drywall Primer before painting or Gyproc Drywall Sealer before wallpapering

Storage

• Store bags indoors on a flat, stable surface away from moisture, heat, and direct sunlight
• This product has a 6-month shelf life when stored correctly
