Product Information
Bona R848T Silane Wood Floor Adhesive (600ml / 1kg) is a high-viscosity, one-component silane-based adhesive designed for the professional installation of wooden flooring. Ideal for engineered and solid wood floors, it offers strong initial grab, low tension to the subfloor, and clean application. The solvent-free, water-free formula prevents wood swelling and provides a safer working environment. Supplied in a 600ml sausage, weighing 1kg, it covers a maximum area of 1.2m².

Application Instructions
- Ensure the subfloor is dry, clean, and flat before application
- Use a suitable notched trowel to apply adhesive evenly to the subfloor
- Press the flooring boards firmly into the adhesive bed to achieve full contact
- Leave a 10mm expansion gap around all perimeter walls
- Clean excess adhesive immediately while still fresh
Storage
- Store in original packaging at +10°C to +25°C
- Protect from frost and direct sunlight
- Shelf life: 12 months unopened

- Do not apply to substrates treated with damp-proof or silane-blocking primers
- Test bonding performance on unusual substrates before full use
- Not suitable for use on PE, PP, or plasticised PVC
