Kingspan Kooltherm K106 Cavity Board is a premium performance insulation board that features a water tight, vapour- open polypropylene fleece and the inner facing is a low emissivity foil, that has been bonded to the insulation core during manufacture. The core of K106 is made up of a fibre-free rigid thermoset phenolic material, manufactured with a blowing agent that has negligible Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and low Global Warning Potential (GWP). The core, polypropylene fleece and the low emissivity composite foil surface of K106 aid in limiting thermal bridging and uncontrolled air leakage via junctions in cavity wall constructions, making it perfect when used to insulate cavity walls with a residual 10mm cavity.
