Slotted concrete corner posts are used in the corner of fences or gravel boards. They are steel reinforced for extra strength and durability.
Product Information
Supreme Concrete Slotted Concrete Corner post is used as a part of a slotted post system. It enables you to make a 90 degree turn, or corner, in a run of fencing. It can also be used for either a left or right hand turn. The post has continuous slots on two sides which enables a fence panel or gravel board to slide in after installation. It is 2.4 metres in length but it is usually embedded into the ground by 0.6m which leaves a 1.8m high fence.
Key Features
Application
Supreme Concrete fence posts are fixed in a traditional way. You need to mark each location where a post required. A hole will then need to be dug, either mechanically or manually, which is 600mm deep (the recommended depth to achieve a fence height of 1.8m). Simply follow the manufacturing instructions on the back of the cement mix packaging. You can also use postfix mixture or you can mix the ballast and cement by hand. Pour the concrete mixture into the hole and tap the concrete post into place, making sure all excess mortar is removed. Ensure the post is level and firmly in place. The concrete needs to be left to cure for 48 hours before installing fence panels. This slotted Supreme concrete fence post does not require any fixing as the fence panels are just simply slotted into place.
