Product Information
British Gypsum Drywall Screws are phosphate-coated for corrosion resistance and have self-tapping points to help you reliably and securely fix plasterboard linings.
Plasterboard linings must be fixed securely to achieve optimum fire and acoustic performance. These drywall screws let you fix plasterboard lining thicknesses of up to 50mm to metal and 35mm to timber frames.
Installation guidance
The screw should be the thickness of the board plus a minimum 10mm penetration into Gypframe metal or the thickness of the board plus a minimum 25mm penetration into timber. Please refer to the White Book online for more information about installing and handling British Gypsum products.
Environmental
British Gypsum fixings are 100% recyclable. Supplied in a cardboard box. Segregate from gypsum waste for recycling. Disposal should be in accordance with local authority requirements.
