Deckfon boards overlay treatments (Chip & MDF) are designed for conversion projects where the joist are covered with a timber decking and the ceiling is to be replaced. They can also be used to reduce impact sound transmission through a concrete floor. Deckfon boards are designed to be used in new structures or as an overlay acoustic floorboard that can be used on concrete floor directly as a floating floor. Deckfon is made up of moisture resistant Tongue & Groove chipboard with a layer of acoustic resilient layer.
