DPM Black Damp Proof Membrane is a loose laid, low density, strong 2000-gauge polyethylene membrane. It is designed for use in solid concrete floors to protect buildings from moisture, rising water and damp from the ground. The DPM membrane provides a barrier that prevents ground water spreading to the finished floor layer, whether that’s timber, laminate, carpet or tiles. This provide long term protection to the upper surface of the floor from damage and enables a floor to comply with the requirements of the national building requirements.
