Oak veneer MDF ogee skirting board offers the perfect choice when finishing off a room. Our oak MDF skirting board is veneered with real oak which is finely selected for consistency of the grains and is widely used for its exceptional colour and surface finish. MDF skirting board is highly resistant to twisting, warping and splitting and is free of natural defects. Skirting board conceals un-tidy surfaces between walls and floors and at the same time protecting the wall from any direct knocks. The veneered facing on the skirting boards can be varnished, stained or it can be left in its natural state, depending on the project.

Environmental
MDF is made from recycled offcuts, sawdust, wood chippings and from trees not suitable for other uses. Different manufacturers list how much recycled material goes into their products. MDF is considered a green product and environmentally friendly.

Safety
Correct PPE should always be used when using MDF. Its harmful fibres are known to cause health issues so the use of goggles and dust masks are recommended. A respirator with a P2 Filter rating should be considered compared to a disposable dust mask. It is recommended that any cutting is undertaken in a well-ventilated area.
