This Supreme Concrete Twice Weathered Concrete Coping (355 x 610mm) protects the exposed edge of brick walls from weather damage and provides a clean, finished appearance. Its central ridge creates a fall on both sides, allowing rainwater to run off evenly, whilst the integrated drip edges help prevent water from tracking down and damaging the face brickwork.

Installation Instructions

1. Clean the top of the wall and lightly dampen it with water
2. Apply a bonding agent, then spread the mortar along the wall, leaving it slightly raised
3. For longer walls, fit one or two steel reinforcing bars (6mm or 8mm) and secure them into the end pillars
4. Dampen the underside of each coping stone to improve bonding
5. Press the coping stones firmly into the mortar, leaving a 10mm joint between each unit
6. Remove any excess mortar immediately using a trowel
7. Use a straight edge and spirit level to ensure the copings are level and correctly aligned
8. Once the fixing mortar has cured, point the joints neatly with mortar
9. Clean away any remaining mortar residue with water before it dries
