Application Instructions for Applying Scrim Tape

1. Clean the plasterboard surface to remove dust, grease, and any rough or ragged edges
2. Apply Speed Pro self-adhesive scrim directly onto the plasterboard without using compound
3. Start application from the top and work downward, repositioning the scrim if necessary
4. At internal corners, fold the scrim with adhesive sides facing out to form a V shape
5. Fit the scrim into the corner by pressing one side in first, then the other, covering roughly 12 inches
6. Repeat the folding and fitting process along the full length of the corner
7. Once in place, use a knife to cover the scrim with jointing compound
8. Allow to dry, then sand smooth and apply a finishing coat of compound

Application Instructions for Repairing Cracks

1. Clean the cracked area by removing dust, grease, and any rough or ragged edges
2. Apply Speed Pro self-adhesive scrim directly along the full length of the crack
3. Spread a thin coat of jointing compound over the scrim and allow it to dry fully
4. Lightly sand the dried compound to create a smooth surface
5. Apply a finish coat of compound, feathering it outwards from the crack for a seamless blend
6. Let the finish coat dry completely before sanding again if needed
7. Ensure the repaired area is smooth and ready for painting or decorating

Application Instructions for Patching Holes

1. Place Speed Pro self-adhesive scrim tape directly over the hole
2. Ensure the scrim tape extends at least 0.5 inches beyond the widest part of the hole
3. Apply a generous amount of jointing compound over the hole and scrim tape
4. Work the compound downward to cover the entire taped area evenly
5. Allow the compound to dry completely before proceeding
6. Lightly sand the dried surface to achieve a smooth finish
7. Apply a thin finishing coat of compound over the patched area
8. Let it dry and sand again if needed for a clean, permanent repair
