Product Information
These 100 x 1200 x 600mm Rockwool Sound Insulation Slabs (4.32m²) have been designed for use in internal walls and floors to reduce noise, from both neighbouring rooms and adjacent properties. Manufactured from non-combustible stone wool and able to withstand temperatures of above 1000°C, Rockwool insulation acts as a great barrier to fire and also does not emit any toxic smoke.
Noise is reduced by these sound insulation slabs in two distinct ways. Firstly, it reduces the transmission of sound waves through the air, and secondly, it traps and prevents sound waves from travelling through it. However, it is the unique Flexi Edge of this insulation slab that is its stand-out feature; enabling friction without the need for cutting and without leaving performance-sapping gaps, the Flexi Edge feature ensures installation is quick, easy, and stays in place without support.
