This 1000mm x 50m Cromar Vent3 Air Roofing Membrane has been designed with a waterproof layer which allows air to pass through whilst still blocking the passage of water from entering the roof structure. The structure of this membrane ensures plenty of air permeability remains in your roof structure, which is vital in the prevention of condensation, helping to reduce the risk of rot, mould and improving your insulation efficiency.
This UV and water-resistant membrane eliminates the need for additional ventilation and can be used under tiles and slates as pitched roof underlay - plus its excellent hydrophobic qualities mean no vapour control layer is needed.
Applications for this product include: suitable for all roof types including cold and unsupported roofs, including Scottish practice such as sarking and butt-jointed planks without the need for a vapour control layer or any additional ventilation at ridge level as recommended in the guidance from the NHBC.
