Questions & Answers

  • From Pablo at 22/07/2011 15:29
    • I am looking fo tanalised timber. When you say it is treated timber, do you mean tanalised?
    • Hi Thank you for you enquiry.

This product is timber treated Batten 25mm x 50mm. And the treatment is tanalised.

Tanalised - impregnated under pressure - to protect against rot. Look for a pale green stain soaked into the outer layer, typically on roughly sawn softwood which otherwise wouldn't last any time at all outside in the wet.
  • From Paul at 19/12/2013 19:58
    • What length do these battens come in ?
    • No specific lengths, sold per running linear meter only.

      Generally, 3.6m to 4.8m.
  • From Rob at 23/06/2014 14:21
    • is there any way of ensuring 4.8m (or 2.4m) lengths? I need 2.4m lengths and don't want any joins/wastage?
    • Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee specific lengths, as we order in running linear metres, and this is how it is supplied.
