Deckfon Quattro is used where the ceiling is to be retained. Deckfon board overlay treatments (Chip & MDF) are designed for conversion projects where the joist are covered with a timber decking and the ceiling is to be replaced. They can also be used to reduce impact sound transmission through a concrete floor. Deckfon boards are designed to be used new structure or as an overlay acoustic floorboard, can also be used on concrete floor directly as a floating floor. Deckfon is made up of moisture resistant Tongue & Groove chipboard with a layer of acoustic resilient layer.
